Kochi, January 21:
Kerala Police arrested Father Jaison Kollannur, former secretary of the Kerala Catholic Youth Movement (KCYM) in connection with Human Trafficking to US. The police registered the case based on the complaint filed by the U.S. Consulate, Chennai to Kerala Police.
Father Jaison Kollannur went to hiding following the exposure and now resurfaced again. In the mean time Kerala Catholic Bishops Council removed him from the position to save it’s face.
During investigation it was found the catholic body in connivance with other two fraudsters Tom Boby and Suby Kurian, had collected money from many poor men, mainly fishermen from coastal areas of Thiruvananthapuram.
