Hindu Ratna Award conferred on Vishnu Hari Dalmia, Dr Swamy

dalmiaNEW DELHI, April 2: Coinciding the second anniversary of Hindu Help Line (HHL) and launching of an exclusive news system called Hindu News Network here recently, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) International Working President Dr Pravin Togadia conferred the coveted Hindu Ratna Award on former VHP president and noted industrialist Vishnu Hari Dalmia and firebrand political leader and President of Janata Party Dr Subramanian Swamy.

The Hindu Ratna award were instituted to honour the Hindus for doing great service to the society in the fields of arts, culture, economics, science and technology, law, business, agriculture etc. The award included a specially designed trophy and a beautiful citation.

Replying to the felicitation Dalmia congratulated Dr Togadia for launching Hindu Help Line. He said that such an initiative was very much needed for helping Hindus worldwide in distress and difficulties. He said that the Hindus confront many a problems and there was no organization to offer them a helping hand in the time of difficulties in unknown lands and unfriendly situations. Hindu Help Line can fill that vacuum and rescue the distressed Hindus, he added.

dalmia1Reaffirming “India is Hindu Rashtra”, Dr Swamy in his electrifying speech said that Hindu Help Line was a significant step forward to take common Hindus along. The Hindus felt orphaned for the want of any such organization, especially when they land in any difficulty. He appealed to all the Hindus to unite and fulfill the dream of renaissance of Hindu Rashtra. He said that Hindu Ratna made him a more proud Hindu.

Elaborating the concept of Hindu Help Line Dr Togadia said “Hindu Help Line is an emergency service for Hindus. Hindus from anywhere in Bharat can call Hindu Help Line Call Center 24 X 7 for emergencies in Travel / Health / Law / Admin etc. for immediate help. He said that so far over 10,000 Hindus had taken help from HHL. The activity included from carrying lunch boxes to the relatives of the patients coming from remote areas to the cities for treatment to making blood available from nearby blood banks to providing an efficient legal aid to sending help to drought affected farmers, HHL cares for the Hindu society. He said that a lot more was needed to be done on this front.

dalmia2Dr Togadia also launched a special Hindu News Network Face book system and news portal. He said on this occasion that he was contemplating on starting a news media to carry the news relating to Hindus. But to his dismay he found that the present electronic media display the news related to Hindus and Hindu society in details due to their ‘compulsions.

The Hindu News Network Face Book page or portal can be great forum for the Hindus to share their news and views even from a remote village to the inaccessible tribal belt to those living abroad. It will be a full-fledged news network giving breaking news, news updates about happenings nationally and globally, information about Hindu culture, traditions and heritage, science and technology, law, interviews, sports, finance and all such subjects, Dr Togadia said.
