Jain Muni Tarun Sagar equates 'Hindu' with nation's confidence

undefinedJaipur, July 19: Addressing a congregation of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) swayamsevaks here recently the revolutionary Jain Muni Tarun Sagar ji Maharaj underlined that the term Hindu denoted confidence of the nation and not any sect as perceived by the lay people.

The congregation was organized on the occasion of 'Guru Daxina' program of RSS at Bhattarakji ki Nasia in Jaipur where the firebrand Jain clergy was delivering his inspiring speech.

Tarun Sagarji Maharaj, who had attended the RSS Vijayadashmi Function in Nagpur a couple of years ago, called on the swayamsevaks to awaken the confidence of the self and the nation. He said that confidence was as important as breathing in any individual's life.

Defining the term Hindu, the Jain Acharya said he who accepts this land as his motherland and culture as his own culture is a Hindu. Whether he is a Jain, or a Buddhist or an Arya Samaji.

Referring to Srimad Bhagwadgita he said that this treasure of knowledge belonged to the entire humanity, nay this the necessary requirement of the entire world. He said that he had read Gita from beginning to the end and found that there was no mention of the word Hindu, not even once.

This means, he said, that Gita is not only for the Hindus, but also for the entire Hindustan and humankind.

Praising RSS the Jain Muni said that RSS teaches and practices only service to the motherland and the society. That is why they rush whenever and wehreever their services are required without waiting for anyone, he added.
