undefinedBrussels, July 4: Some major European countries like Belgium, Sweden, United Kingdom, France, and Germany are feeling the heat of Islamic fundamentalism and extreme intolerance associated with it in their respective countries.

The recent happening in these countries indicated to this stark reality which seems to have taken these ‘tolerant, secular and progressive’ Christian nations by surprise.

In India, besides the sizeable population of ‘genuine’ Indian Muslims, millions of illegally entered Muslims from neighboring Bangladesh and Pakistan, one comes across a number of such areas which are forbidden for non-Muslims. Such areas are normally referred to as “Mini Pakistan” within India in colloquial Indian parlance.

No one takes any objection to this reality, not even those ‘genuine’ Indian Muslims who preferred to stay in India in the wake of the vivisection of the motherland in 1947. The meek, weak and divided Hindu society that has accepted the partition of the country as fate accompli has not taken any exception for these areas to be called as ‘Mini Pakistan’.

But that is another story.

We are discussing the situation in European countries which boast of their tolerant, secular and accommodative culture and traditions.

According to liveleak.com in Brussels, the capital of Brussles, several neighborhoods have turned into ‘no-go zones’ or ‘Mini Pakistans’ if we compare them with the Indian situation, not for the common citizens, but for those who are entrusted with the responsibility of maintaining law and order and peace.
And even if they dare to enter such ‘no-go zones’ they are confronted with rocks, attacks, and even their police vehicles are wrecked. Unsurprisingly, 80 per cent of the people who live in these neighborhoods are of Islamic origin. And the attackers are often the underage, the report says.

Police officers who visit these areas claim that in many a neighborhoods they require two patrol cars – one to carry out the assignment and the other one to protect and provide cover to the first patrol car from being wrecked.

Many police officers are often reluctant to go to these notorious areas inhabited by the Islamic immigrants. Last week, a young immigrant was arrested for allegedly stealing a car and dashing it into the various police vehicles and trying to run over a female police officer. The arrested youngster accepted the offence and admitted that he tried to kill the cop. The Belgium court let him go while the female officer suffered serious injuries and will have to undergo a treatment for months.

undefinedAccording to http://midnightwatcher.wordpress.com the spokesman of a Belgium radical Islamist group, Sharia4Belgium was arrested for posting an internet video urging attacks on non-Muslims after a woman was detained for wearing a burqa. Two Muslim politicians who won municipal elections in Brussels, have vowed to implement Islamic Sharia law in Belgium.

Authorities cope to struggle with Muslim crime wave: “New Europe reported a recent incident that occurred on the streets of Brussels which raised questions as to the true integration of the Muslim population in an already divided country. Crime in EU’s capital has been growing as well as minority population. Integration of Muslims into Belgium culture has been extremely difficult. With a rapidly growing population, the capital of Belgium – and of the EU – is already one of the most multicultural in Europe. Muslims are already a majority in some neighborhoods.”

No-Go areas for non-Muslims: In the United Kingdom, the warning about these dangerous portents of Islamic fundamentalism came from no other than a senior cleric of the Church of England. Bishop of Rochester, who is a Pakistani, warned that Islamic extremists “are trying to create ‘no-go areas’ in the UK for non-Muslims”, and the non-Muslims face the attacks in most areas.

“Those of a different religion or race may find it difficult to live or work there because of hostility to them”, the Bishop said.

It may be well recalled that the British, who ruled India for over two centuries and succeeded in partitioning the country on the religious fault lines, never hid their love for the Muslims. Many a British officers used to provide the most preferred treatment to the Muslims with an intention to wean them away from the Hindu society, especially after the 1857 War of Independence which was fought by the Muslims and Hindus as one homogenous Indian society. Now they are feeling the heat of their love for these Islamists.

Swedish firemen recall Muslim hostilities: The hostility of these intolerant Islamists is experienced by the firemen in Sweden also. In an interview to liveleak.com some of the Swedish firemen said that they were attacked by the hostile Muslim population whenever they went for dousing fires in their areas.

They stated the “hostile Muslim population sets fires and then attacks them when they come to put them out and save anyone who may be in danger from them”.

This is now familiar as it is classic ‘Al Queda Handbook’ stuff on how to make a ‘no-go zone’. “The whole atmosphere is very threatening. One doesn’t go outside in the evening alone; one does what one has to do when it’s day time. And one does not go alone”, liveleak.com reported.

So, this is the reality that stares straight into the eyes of these modern, broad-minded, secular, and tolerant Christian nations of Europe. Many of these ‘no-go zones’ function as microstates governed by Islamic Sharia law with the host countries effectively losing control in these areas and in many cases find themselves helpless to provide even basic public services such as police, fire-fighting and ambulance services.

And these ‘no-go zones or areas’ are the by-product of the multicultural policies that have encouraged Muslim immigrants to create parallel societies and remain isolated instead of becoming integrated into their European host nations.

Are their Indian counterparts listening?
