Rajnath backs Jay Shah, says no substance in allegations

New Delhi, Oct 10: Launching a fierce attack on opposition parties on the issue of Jay Shah, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh said that the allegations of financial irregularities are untrue and does not have any substance. The senior minister also slammed Congress for blowing the issue out of proportion.

Speaking to the media after inaugurating the new headquarters of the National Investigation Agency, Rajnath backed Amit Shah and rejected the demand of any probe. Recalling the instances of media trial against Party President Amit Shah, the former BJP Chief slammed ‘The Wire’ for producing false derogatory and defamatory report on Jay Shah.


Taking a legal recourse against the article published by the online portal “The wire” Jay Shah, son of BJP President Amit Shah has filed a Rs 100 crore defamation suit against the editor & owner of media outlet ‘The Wire’.
