Kolkata, October 11: The TMC leader Mamata Banerjee has often been criticized for her fascist nature. Reviving talks on that, once top TMC leader Mukul Roy said on Wednesday during a press conference that Mamata Banerjee may be the leader but we are not slaves of her. He held the conference after resigning from Rajyasabha MP Post.

Though it is not confirmed that what will be his future political course but it is being assumed that he may join BJP. He said his decision was already taken six months back. Still, then his distance with top TMC leaders initiated the speculation of his resignation from the party. "With a heavy heart and heavy pain, I am compelled to submit my resignation," Roy later told the media.

He mainly highlighted his reason of resignation as an effect of ideological conflict with TMC leaders. TMC started its journey opposing Congress. Now Roy says TMC has a closer relation to Congress which is a clear ideological deviation. Even at a point of time, TMC was a part of NDA and Mamata Banerjee was the minister of the cabinet.

He questioned the one man policy of TMC. According to him, one-man party can harm Indian politics. Whereas TMC leaders called Roy no one, just a mere local leader Mukul Roy said he submitted the registration letter of TMC to the election commission. Now TMC can merge with Congress instead of the failed try to keep good relation with both BJP and Congress.
