Chandrababu Naidu introduces Solid Waste Management vehicles to maintain cleanliness

Amaravati, Oct 11: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today flagged off thirty Solid Waste Management vehicles, a unique initiative of the state government in order to achieve the goal of Swach Andhra. Speaking at the function Naidu stated that the state government has set up new greenery and landscaping corporation for the clean and transparent environment.


Making an official announcement about the constitution of Swach Andhra Corporation the Chief minister underlined that AP is the first state to adopt such green initiate. The TDP supremo said that government will use new machines to clean street lights and pruning trees. The new venture will be carried out in the cities like Amaravati, Vijayawada, Guntur, Vizag, and Tirupati.

Elaborating on the future plans, Naidu opined that 22 lakh toilets will be constructed in next six months. The chief minister also mentioned that his government would install LED lights metalled roads and drainages to have a clean environment.
