Andhra Pradesh government seals deal with L&T and Shapoorji for project Amaravati

Amaravati, Oct 11: Finalizing the deal for the ambitious project of state capital Amaravati, the state government has sealed the deal with construction giants Larsen and Toubro (L&T) and Shapoorji. Andhra Pradesh government today sanctioned the construction plan for building quarters for elected representatives and civil servants in the Capital city.

Chairing the review meeting, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu approved the budget of Rs. 2,652 crore for the proposed 18 towers for a public representative. On this occasion, the Chief Minister ratified the establishment of a State Level Command Centre along with a golf course in 70 acres for national-level events.


The Chief Minister also interacted with officials of Singapore based Consortium and discussed the progress of housing project. Team One India Pvt. Ltd presented the designs for the towers and blueprints and layouts of houses.
