Ashish Nehra announces retirement from all forms of cricket

Hyderabad, October 12: Team India’s iconic player Ashish Nehra today announced his decision of retirement from all forms of international cricket. Speaking to the media Nehara said that first Twenty20 match against New Zealand at Feroz Shah Kotla would be his last cricketing activity.

The 38-year-old pacer stated that he has conveyed his decision to the Indian Cricket team management and team official. The star player also declared that he would not engage any activity in the Indian Premier League where he represents Delhi.

Nehara, who started playing international cricket back in 1999 has represented India in 17 Tests, 120 ODIs, and 26 T20Is. He made his international debut under the captainship of Mohammad Azharuddin.
