Governors can become catalytic agents for change in society: PM Modi

 

New Delhi, Oct 12: Underlining the importance of Public participation in the democratic setup, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that governors can become catalytic agents for a positive change in society.

Addressing the opening session of the Conference of Governors at Rashtrapati Bhawan, Modi urged governors to engage interactive sessions with students and teachers for innovative ideas in the process of good governance.

On this occasion, President Ram Nath Kovind inaugurated the Governor's conference at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The Conference was being attended by Twenty-seven Governors and three Lt. Governors of States and Union Territories.
