Shocking! JK police nabs two constables for supplying ammunition to Hizbul Mujahideen terror outfit

Srinagar, October 12: Security forces have got major success in curbing terrorism since two years across the country and especially in Jammu and Kashmir. But still, there was some leak due to which terrorists were able to target Indian troops easily due to which many jawans are martyred till now. Shockingly, Jammu and Kashmir police have arrested two police constables who were allegedly supplying ammunition to terror outfit Hizbul Mujahideen.

 

Notably, the shocking revelation, however, came to light on Tuesday after the J&K Police busted a module of ammunition supply to Hizb-ul-Mujahideen terror group in Shopian district. Live rounds of AK-47 rifles were recovered from the two constables.

Both the police constables have been arrested after the accusations and police are further investigating the case. A police team during a search near the Circuit House area arrested one of the three accused Adil Ahmed Negroo and recovered 20 live rounds of AK 47 from his possession. The detained was later identified as the overground worker of the terror outfit Hizbul Mujahideen.

During the interrogation, Negroo revealed that he had received 40 rounds of ammunition for the AK series of from a Jammu and Kashmir police constable Shabir Ahmad Malik posted in the Ganderbal district. Jammu and Kashmir police immediately nabbed Constable Shabir Ahmad Malik and he further made another shocking revelation saying that he had got the ammunition consignment from another police officer posted in District Police Lines Shopian, Nazir Ahmad.

Following the interrogation, Jammu and Kashmir police arrested Nazir Ahmad and further investigation in on. Director General of Police SP Vaid appreciated the police team for busting an "unholy nexus" between policemen and terrorists. "We have zero percent tolerance for such acts and we will ensure stricter and a quick punishment for the guilty," SP Vaid added.
