Jharkhand CM arrives in Japan to meet top CEOs’ of the country; JICA approves to build an I.T University in Ranchi

Ranchi, October 12: Jharkhand CM Raghubar Das arrived in Japan yesterday in the evening. He was picked up my Ambassador Sujon R Chinoy who in-return organized a small dinner party for CM Das. He took part in many events and also spoke on the foreign dias. 

Interaction was held in between CM Raghubar Das and Vice President of JICA for investment in proposed metro rail project in Ranchi, the DPR of the Metro Rail has already been completed. A brief presentation of this was prepared in the Japanese language. Zakia was offered a proposal for investment in the proposed Smart City in Ranchi. For this, a demand of soft loans of Rs 15 thousand crore was made. In addition to Ranchi, for the construction of infrastructure in 41 urban local bodies, assistance will be sought from the zilla. It was told that the meeting of the officials of the Zilla with CM Das will be held today. 
CM Das also addressed in front of the Japanese officials with a keynote speech at the International Promotion Seminar for rich opportunities. Recently itself, both India and Japan came together to build the first bullet train in India. 
Both countries’ CMs met different entrepreneurs of Japan. During the meeting, it’s been decided that a Japanese cluster will be made in Jharkhand for the manufacture of electronic items. Japan could also hold its Japanese Investor Conference in Ranchi, said the government reports. This conference will be organized in collaboration with the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO). In Japan, its date will be announced.
In good news, Japan International Cooperation Agency has proposed to open up a I.T university in Ranchi. Such a move will be highly helpful for the state that still lacks educational facilities.
