Beirut, October 14: At least 1,000 foreign Islamic State (ISIS) terrorists enter Syria via Iraq every year only to keep a hold on several Syrian Provinces like Deir Ezzor, Sana’a etc and kill innocent civilians.

According to pro-opposition Syrian Opposition for Human Rights, more than 1,000 foreign Islamic State (ISIS) terrorists entered in Syria via Iraq. The human rights group further claimed that 1,000+ ISIS terrorists came from several countries in central Asia, including Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Tajikistan.

The human rights group also claimed that the ISIS terrorists entered the Deir Ezzor Governorate via Albukamal, which is the last crossing for the terrorist group between Iraq and Syria. The SOHR report also claimed that more than 500 Islamic State terrorists had been killed in Syria over the past two weeks by the US and Russian led airstrikes.

Notably, Syria is affected by the civil war since many years due to which thousands of civilians lost their lives while millions were displaced. However, the civil war in Syria has erupted due to clashes between many terrorist organizations and government forces.

Earlier in the month of August this year, the SOHR also claimed that at least 1,70,000 foreign terrorists have fought under different banners including Islamic State, Hezbollah, Army of Quds, Asaeb Ahl al-Haq, Fatimiyyun Battalions etc throughout Syria’s civil war.

“These foreign terrorists also get the salaries from different terror organizations. Iranian-backed Hezbollah pays its terrorists a monthly salary of $700, while Shia Afghan and Pakistani soldiers receive $150. Daesh pays its married fighters $650 monthly, while those who are single receive only $200. Those fighting among the ranks of the PKK/PYD terrorist organization receive monthly salaries ranging between $130- 250. More than 40,000 people, mostly civilians, have been killed in the three-decade-long conflict,” the SOHR revealed.
