Environment Minister Harsh Vardhan pitches for eco-friendly crackers

New Delhi, Oct 15: Commenting on the ongoing protest against the Supreme Court's directive on crackers in the national capital, Union minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan suggested that Indian scientists should research on the utility of environmental friendly crackers.
As reported by ANI, the senior minister sharing his remarks made at the India International Science festival, the Chandani Chauk MP opined that technologist should give a thought on developing eco-friendly crackers so as to present the terrific air pollution during the festive session of Diwali. He further added that the innovative technique would also serve the economic interest of a larger number of traders involved in this business.
