Vadodara, Oct 15: Ahead of the crucial state assembly election, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will make a short trip to his home state Gujarat. According to media reports On the auspicious occasion of Diwali which also marks the Gujarati new year, PM Modi is all set to visit the city of Vadodara, popularly known as the cultural capital on Oct 23.
According to state officials, Modi will launch the development projects worth Rs 780 Cr. As reported by Indian Express, the Prime Minister will dedicate several projects of Vadodara Municipal Corporation. PM Modi, who contested his maiden Lok Sabha election from Vadodara is also expected to announce the much anticipated mega flyover project with the cost of Rs 222 crore.
