Mogadishu, October 16: A devastating bomb blast in Somalia capital has taken away 276 lives while 300 others are injured. This truck blast can be called as a deadliest one in Somalia. Several countries including Turkey and Kenya already offered to send medical aid.
Doctors of the Mogadishu hospitals despite being shaken by the terror have to continue their works. Many victims are burned beyond recognition. Even sometimes they are failing to give attention at the proper time due to the huge number of patients.
"They have targeted the most populated area in Mogadishu, killing only civilians," Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khaire said. The leader saddened by the terror said, "they don't care about the lives of Somali people, mothers, fathers, and children."
The United States condemned the attack and said: "such cowardly attacks reinvigorate the commitment of the United States to assist our Somali and African Union partners to combat the scourge of terrorism."
