UP govt celebrates Ramayana themed Deepotsav in Ayodhya with record 1.71 lakh diyas

Ayodhya, October 18: Ayodhya, the Land of Lord Rama is all set to celebrate the festival of Lights, Diwali in a unique manner. Starting from recreating the scenic view of various memories of the Ramayana through the 11 tableaus the People will also celebrate the homecoming of Lord Rama after 14 years of exile and lit up their houses with Diyas. 

The 'Mokshadayani Heritage Walk' was organized in Ayodhya on the occasion of Deepotsav. Deepotsav event started early in the morning on Wednesday with Heritage walk from Kanchan Bhawan to Nageshwar Dham during this Kanchan Bhawan, Runamochan Ghat, Siyaram Fort, Satguru Sadan, Lakshman Fort, Sahastra Dhara, Sheshavatar Temple, Udaseen Akhara, Swarg Dwar, Chandrahari Ashram and Nageshwar Nath Temple and people got to know about the historical significance.

 

The Shobha Yatra was also started from the Saket College of Ayodhya and ended in the Ramkatha Park after showing the Ramayana in 11 tableaus. The preparation of Deepotsav will make a world record with a 1.71 lakh Deep Prajjvalan on October 18, 2017.

 

Talking about the Programme, Bharatiya Janata Party State Spokesperson Shalabh Mani Tripathi said that this festival going to be led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Ayodhya President Dr. Mahendranath Pandey, which will be historic, glorious and unprecedented. On this occasion, the story of the development of Ayodhya will also be written. Thanks to this function and development work, the birthplace of Lord Rama, Ayodhya will also find its place on the map of the world and will not only extend our eternal cultural heritage but also in the direction of Tourism, Ayodhya will wield its light on the world screen.
