Kolkata, October 18: Dengue has been bothering Bengal capital Kolkata for last two-three months. To counter this threat, Kolkata Municipal Corporation will take the help of technology using Drone camera. It will observe trapped waste, stored water.
Despite several warning from KMC, residents are not listening to the instruction to not to store water. Do not let the garbage grow. It is also being told that mosquito breeding is increasing. But it is still seen that in many places the trend of water harvesting is not possible. The Same thing is happening in schools and colleges from universities, hospitals, and many government and non-government organizations. So the idea of using the camera of modern technology has been conceived.
The construction sites are often a bad place for mosquito breeding. Staffs of KMC often cannot inspect the places properly. The drone camera will help to observe those areas in a proper way. KMC hopes this will help better inspection and identify the reasons for dengue.
