Srinagar, October 2: Indian security forces eliminated two more Pakistani terrorists in the Rampur sector of Baramulla district along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir and foiled the major infiltration bid on Monday. The search operation is still on and Indian troops believe that more terrorists are trapped.

Two Pakistani intruders with arms were trying to infiltrate in the Indian side along the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rampur sector of Baramulla district. After noticing the suspect movement Indian troops challenged infiltrators which resulted in the exchange of fires and troops easily eliminated two Pakistani terrorists. The search operation has been launched heavily and the area has been cordoned off.

Earlier, in the day, Pakistani forces violated the ceasefire in Poonch district’s Kerni and Digwar sectors due to which two children were killed and four people were injured. Indian army also retaliated heavily to the coward attack of Pakistani forces. Asrar Ahmad, 10, of Keran sector and 15-year-old Jasmin Akhtar of Digwar died due to injuries as Pakistan fired mortar shells in parts of Poonch along the Line of Control.

Importantly, the encounter comes a little over a year after an attack in Uri in which 19 Indian soldiers had died. Indian forces killed 4 Pakistani intruders last week in Uri sector of Kashmir. The Indian security forces have led a massive war against terrorism and terrorists in the inner parts of Jammu-Kashmir and forward areas. Therefore, Anti-Terrorism operation is continued with such a speed that at least 140 terrorists are eliminated by Indian troops in a time period of only 8 months.
