England to take on Spain in FIFA Under-17 World Cup Final

New Delhi, October 26: After 23 days of the tournament and the clash between 24 teams, the FIFA Under-17 World Cup has finally got its top two contenders who will be tackling each other on 28th October in Kolkata. Spain and England will face each other at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata.

 

The semi-finals played on Wednesday resulted in the victory of Spain over Mali by 3-1 at Navi Mumbai, in Kolkata, England defeated Brazil by the same margin which led the two victorious teams to play the Final to be held in Kolkata on Saturday. Spain will be playing its fourth Final while England entered into its maiden Final.

The Spanish Captain Abel Ruiz scored two goals with Ferran Torres who hit one goal for Spain in the semi-final against Mali. For England, Rhian Brewster came up with his second consecutive hat-trick of the tournament which led him to highest goal-scorer in the tournament with seven goals into his account.

Kolkata will be hosting the Final between Spain and England. While the Brazil and Mali will be playing to secure the third spot on Saturday at the Salt Lake Stadium, Kolkata.
