Fire broke out in firework factory of Jakarta; 47 killed, 23 injured

Jakarta, October 26: The fire broke out in the firework factory at an industrial complex of Jakarta which to lead to the death of 47 people while 43 people got injured on Thursday. The accident took place in the district of Tangerang which is known as a satellite city of Jakarta.

 

According to the local media, there were total 103 workers in the factory when the incident occurred. The factory had been operating for less than two months. The two explosions were marked, one at 10 in the morning and another after three hours.

The fire which broke out in the morning has been brought under control by the afternoon. Recovery of the dead bodies is still under process and also the casualties are still to be confirmed at the exact number.
