Three Maoists killed by the security forces in Chhatisgarh

Rajnandgaon, October 26: In a joint Operation carried out by the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Chattisgarh Police killed three Maoists in an encounter which took place in the district of Rajnandgaon on Wednesday night. The search operation is going on by the Joint force in the area.

 

The ITBP and the local district force were in the search operation in the jungles of Kopenkadka in Manpur area where the encounter took place. The reward of Rs.17 lakh was on the heads of the three Maoists, while the arms were recovered from the spot.

According to the local media, one SLR, one INSAS rifle, and one AK- 47 has been recovered. From the three Maoists, the reward of Rs. 8 lakh was on two Maoists each while the third one had the reward of Rs. one lakh on his head.
