Felicitating Lata Didi, CM Fadnavis said she served the society with her voice, healed wounds of many
Mumbai, October 27: Yesterday while the city was immersed in the festive celebrations of Chhath Pooja, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also performed one and prayed to Sun God at Juhu beach. Further Chief Minister Fadnavis attended the ceremony ‘Amrut Hrudayswarlata’ which marked the completion of 75 years of legendary Lata Mangeshkar and also 80th birthday of Hridaynath Mangeshkar.
Amidst the melodious legends, Usha Tai was also present; other ministers like Vinod Tawade, Asish Shelar were also present. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis felicitated Lata Mangeshkar didi and Hridaynath Mangeshkar on this auspicious occasion.
Addressing this occasion, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that Lata Mangeshkar didi served the society with her voice, healed wounds of many. She is ‘Didi’ (sister) our brave soldiers safeguarding our nation and protecting borders. Further CM Fadnavis said that Mangeshkar family is not great only because of the God gifted art, but because they are also great human beings and has set a unique example for the society.
