Police seized a truck of cattle smugglers carrying 57 cattle, 1 arrested

Bhopal, October 28: A truck carrying 57 cattle was caught by Madhya Pradesh police today. In this case one suspect has been arrested. “Case has been registered against the smuggler” cop says.

 

 

 As per the’ The Madhya Pradesh Agricultural Cattle Preservation Act – 1959’ no person shall transport or offer for transport or cause to be transported any agricultural cattle from any place within the State any place outside the State, for the purpose of its slaughter in contravention of the provision of this Act or with the knowledge that it will be or is like to be so slaughtered.

In this case the charged can be imprisoned upto one year or can be fined up to Rs. 1000.
