Indo-US ties significant for development and world peace: CM Shivraj Singh

Bhopal, October 30: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Indo-US ties have strengthened with the mutual support of PM Modi and American President Donald Trump. The ties between the two countries would be significant not only for development but also for world peace.

Talking to the media at the state hangar on his return from US tour, Chouhan said that he was invited by the Indian Embassy for lecture on the relevance of Integral Humanism on the birth centenary year of the great thinker Late Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay.

He said that the world is accepting the relevance of Integral Humanism. Now the principle of Integral Humanism is the only hope. The rest of the ideologies have failed and are irrelevant.

The Chief Minister told that he gave information related to the remarkable progress of Madhya Pradesh and India to non-resident Indians. “Friends of Madhya Pradesh” has become a strong platform, he said.

Chouhan said that “Friends of Madhya Pradesh” is playing a significant role in building a positive image of Madhya Pradesh. A huge number of non-resident Indians belonging to Madhya Pradesh are working in America on important posts. On their appeal, “Friends of Madhya Pradesh” was constituted last year. This has helped in forming a positive opinion about Madhya Pradesh in America.

He further said that Incubation and Entrepreneurship Centre will be introduced in GSITS Indore which will be supported by Tandon School of Engineering of New York University. He told that a delegation of US India Business Council will visit the state in November. The team will discuss possibilities of investment in the food processing, defence, automobile and textile sectors.
