About 3 billion dollars invested in Indian capital markets in October by Foreign investors

New Delhi, October 30: Due to stable macroeconomic conditions, high nominal and real yields, the foreign investors have invested about 3 billion dollars in the Indian capital markets in October. In the debt markets, most of the investment has been made by the Investors.

 

As per the latest depository data, during October 3rd to 27th, Foreign Portfolio Investments (FPIs) have invested an amount of Rs. 2,806 crore in the stock markets and Rs. 15,132 crore in debt markets which make the total amount to Rs. 17,938 crore.

The net outflow in September was Rs. 10,000 crore from the capital markets. Also in the earlier six months of the year (February-August), the net outflow was Rs. 1.78 lakh crore.
