Dr Bhamre commends alertness of all the troops deployed along the LOC

Jammu, October 6: Raksha Rajya Mantri Dr Subhash Bhamre commended the alertness of all the troops deployed along the LOC and appreciated their efforts in foiling the nefarious designs of inimical forces and stressed upon the need to maintain a high degree of vigil. The two-day visit of RRM Dr Subhash Bhamre to Jammu region concluded on Thursday. Bhamre visited the forward areas of Poonch, Pir Bhadreshwar and Buchhamandi.

 

During his visit to various forward areas along the LOC, in Buchhamandi, he interacted with soldiers freely over a cup of tea. He was briefed by the GOC Crossed Swords Division and local commanders about the defence preparedness and efforts being undertaken to thwart any mis-adventure by the adversary in this region. He emphasised that the national leadership and the government is fully sensitive to the problems faced by the soldiers while operating in such difficult and arduous conditions. He assured that all support will be provided to ensure that the Army is Operationally fully equipped to deal a telling blow to the adversary as and when required.
