Sikkim, October 9: If women ruled the world, there would be no wars. Just a bunch of jealous countries not talking to each other, War is not women’s ‘History’. On a light note this quote defines a women’s perspective on wars which takes millions of lives and does no good to anyone whoever is involved in it. That’s woman! Our master lady Nirmala Sitharaman too gave the cherishing, moment for India-China’s relations. Taught the arrogant Chinese troops to bow and say 'Namaste'.

While paying a visit the Nathu La, Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had a very witty yet fruitful interaction with Chinese soldiers where Nirmala Sitharaman asked "Namaste! You know what 'Namaste' is?" To this the Chinese soldier giving a guess answered: "Nice to meet you." Further, the Chinese soldier responded saying ‘Ni Hao’. One by one, the Chinese soldiers greeted the minister with enthusiastic "Namastes" and "ni Haos".

India-China had 72-day long stand-off at Doklam, this interaction came as a goodwill gesture which will help to patch bilateral ties and to put back all the disputes. Teaching Chinese soldiers Indian ‘Namaste’ came as ‘happy’ faceoff after Defence Nirmala Sitharaman did it. This skill of our lady portrays her ‘ability’ to handle the ‘tough’ side with ease and diplomacy. That’s our woman of substance- Nirmala Sitharaman.

Earlier, Ms Sitharaman posted a photo showing her smiling and waving at Chinese troops across the border. "Acknowledged a row of Chinese soldiers from across the fence who were taking pictures on my reaching Nathu La," the accompanying tweet read. Yet one of the ‘relationship’ building skills which is commendable, thousands of commoners lauded this interaction Nirmala Sitharaman had with Chinese Army men.
