Andhra Pradesh to establish first Block Chain Technology Park at Vizag: Nara Lokesh

Amaravati, Nov 1: The techno-savvy Andhra Pradesh government has finally given its nod for the much-anticipated blockchain Technology Park. Informing about the development, Information Technology Minister Nara Lokesh took to twitter and shared the forthcoming plan of state government. Lokesh announced that with the assistance of Apla, Phoenix and Oasis Grace Companies first block chain Technology Park will be developed at Vizag.
 
 
 
 

The senior Minister today met officials of Block Chain technology companies and discussed future plans for the same. A three-phase plan has been finalized where a consortium of 12 Blockchain tech companies will star its operation within the stipulated time of 180 days. According to state officials, this venture would provide near about 1,000 new job opportunities.

Expressing happiness over the agreement Lokesh underlined that use of blockchain technology would reduce the threats associated with cyber-attacks in all government departments. He further mentioned that the state of Andhra Pradesh will emerge as the global leader in the development of blockchain technology. Referring to the Designated Technology Park policy (DTP) the minister assured all the backing and infrastructure support for his high profile outing.
