BJP’s big public meeting in Kolkata indicates the changing political scenario in the state

Kolkata, November 10: The veteran politician Mukul Roy left TMC and joined BJP due to increasing corruption and fascism within the party. After joining BJP, the leader had his first public meeting on Friday. Under the leadership of BJP State Secretary Dilip Ghosh, the meeting was called in Kolkata where Kailash Vijayvargiya was also present.

The well-known Sarada scam which catalyzed the anger against common people’s anger against TMC involved various leaders from the party. But what is more shocking, Mukul Roy alleged that Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee met Sudipta Sen several times. Previously former Rajya Sabha MP Kunal Ghosh alleged that Mamata Banerjee met Sudipta Sen at a tourist lodge in Delo. Mukul Roy also said they were present at the meeting but after tourism related discussion they left the place.

The increasing corruption, fascism and for several other reasons he criticized Mamata Banerjee. "TMC is no longer All India Trinamool Congress. It has turned into a private limited company," he said. He criticized Mamata Banerjee for celebrating festivals while 100 of patients dying from dengue in the state.

The infamous communal politics of TMC has also been criticized by BJP leaders. Dilip Ghosh also condemned Mamata Banerjee administration for banning Saraswati Puja in schools, for trying to stop Durga idol immersion for vote bank politics. Kailash Vijayvargiya highlighted the issue that how the Bengal M renamed various projects funded by Central government to gain popularity.

BJP leaders pledged to bring a change in Bengal from the upcoming panchayat election. The gathering of the meeting was also indicating BJP’s increasing support in the state.
