Rana Daggubati signs flick on Travancore king Marthanda Varma

Hyderabad, Nov 14: After essaying the sensational role of demon Bhalladeva in SS Rajamauli’s two-part Baahubali series, Handsome hunk Rana Daggubati is all set for yet another epic folklore. This time, the ace actor will be narrating the story of based on Travancore king Marthanda Varma. The master performer took to Twitter and shared details about his new outing.

 


Rana, known for his apt script selection will now portray the “Anizham thirunal Marthanda Varma- the king of Travancore.

The 32-year actor is currently shooting for his period drama 1945, a love story which is based on the life of a soldier in Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s Indian National Army where he will share the screen with legendary actors like Satyraj, Nasser. Regina Cassandra will also be seen in the pivotal role.



The Project will be helmed by K.Madhu and Robin Thirumala will pen down the screenplay for the historic tale. The seven arts Mohan has been roped in for the job of line producer. The project is in Pre-Production stage and according to media reports shooting would kick-start in mid-2018.
