Amaravati to host first Social Media Summit and Awards

Amaravati, Nov 14: Andhra Pradesh state capital Amaravati is gearing up for the most anticipated first national level Social Media Summit and Awards (SMSA). A brainchild of chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, the mega event will take place on Nov 18 and 19. The two-day Summit will have interactive sessions and panel discussions on the emerging trends in social media.


Delegates representing international ventures like Google, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter are also expected to attend the unique initiative. The Convention is being jointly helmed by VIBRI Media in association with the government of Andhra Pradesh.


As reported by TOI, VIBRI Media managing director Vishnu Induri said that near about 1000 guests will be attending the two-day power packed session. On November 18, delegates will brainstorm on the prospects of social media where experts from all walks of life will pitch their ideas on the most happening platform. Later on November 19, SMSA will fate renowned personalities for their social media activity. There are 30 categories of awards nominated in various genres of Best Content Creation on social media. Celebrities like Deepika Padukone, Rana Daggubati, Music composer Anirudh, RJ Balaji have been selected for the different categories.
