Another Phogat sister to debut in Televisions

New Delhi, November 15: Babita Phogat, wrestler champion, will be seen on TV screens soon, not on the Sports channel but on the entertainment channel. As she has signed a TV show, Badho Bahu, in which she will be playing herself. This will be her debut in acting field.

 

After her wrestler sister Geeta Phogat won hearts at the last season of ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ which was a hit, now its turn of another Phogat sister to show her acting skill.

“I am excited about appearing on ‘Badho Bahu’. I liked the concept of a father-in-law encouraging his bahu’s talent — it’s progressive. Personally, I wouldn’t want to give up on wrestling; I strongly believe that a girl shouldn’t feel any less than a man and should strive to create a mark for herself” Babita said.

Earlier also Glimpse of Phogat sisters was shown in a blockbuster Dangal last year. Badho Bahu is the story of an overweight girl Badho, her struggle to find her identity. Badho is married to Lucky. Despite opposition, Badho's father-in-law, encourages her to take up wrestling. Badho, currently training for her first official wrestling match, would fight against Babita.
