Jharkhand Foundation Day: Free Ambulance Service, Johar scheme introduced for the public benefit
Ranchi, November 15: Celebrating the 17th Foundation day of Jharkhand, President Ram Nath Kovind paid tribute to the Freedom fighter Birsa Munda and also honored the people who made a special contribution towards the state. Earlier, the state government will distribute an asset worth Rs.5, 000 crores on the occasion of foundation day.
Addressing the Occasion President said that Johar, Jharkhand, I congratulate the 3 crores 30 lakh people of the state on the foundation day. The Jharkhand government is working on the development of the martyr’s village under the martyr village scheme, which is a very commendable initiative. He further added that I express my gratitude to the visionary former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who has decided to set up Jharkhand state.
Talking about the development in Jharkhand, Kovind said that Jharkhand is at second place in the growth rate and has remained at the first place in labor reform for the last two years. The success of industries started by the Momentum Jharkhand program will give the state more speed.
The Jharkhand government has started many new schemes for the sake of people including the free ambulance service, insurance policies etc. Giving the details about the schemes the Chief Minister of Jharkhand Raghubar Das said that since its efforts to eradicate poverty from Jharkhand, we are going to start the Johar scheme of 1500 crore on Wednesday, in which the income of two lakh families in the next five years will be doubled.
From today we are also introducing Free Ambulance Service 108 in Jharkhand, so far the health facilities are not as good. Many people in the emergency are unable to reach the hospital so that we have started 108 number emergency medical ambulance services of Rs.290 crore. Under Chief Minister's Health Insurance scheme of Rs.636 crore, 57 lakh families out of 68 lakh families of the state are getting free insurance of two lakh rupees per family. 980 small diseases will be covered in this plan he added.
Talking on the occasion Das said that in the last two-and-a-half years we have provided more than 1 lakh jobs and employment opportunity to more than 1.4 million people. You gave me the opportunity to serve as the principal servant of the state. Since then, I have been engaged in your service with my complete loyalty. 365 days of the year and 24 hours a day, I have only one goal, development of Jharkhand.
On Jharkhand Foundation Day, ten thousand children from different areas of Ranchi gathered in the Mohrabadi with the tricolor. On the 17th anniversary of the state, 17 girls used to cut a huge cake of 1000 pounds with the Chief Minister and flew more than 10 thousand balloon squares with the slogans of Happy Birthday Jharkhand.
Addressing the children on this occasion, Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Raghuvar Das said that the land of state will fulfill the dreams of Aba Birsa Munda. Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Bajpayee has given us Jharkhand as the present Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given the resolution to make a happy Jharkhand. Congratulations to the people of Jharkhand because today Jharkhand is the second state of India in economic development.
