Andhra IT Minister Nara Lokesh assures one lakh IT jobs by 2019

Amaravati, Nov 15: Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh said that TDP government will take all necessary steps to boost the emerging IT sector. Addressing the assembly members Lokesh announced that by 2019 government will achieve the target of one lakh IT job opportunity. The minister stated that necessary infrastructure and ecosystem will be provided by AP government.
Briefing about the current employment scenario, Lokesh mentioned that near about 194 IT companies have started their operations with 12,274 new jobs. Commenting on the Designated Technology Park (DTP) policy 2017-20 the IT Minister assured that government will extend all possible aid to encourage new companies with good track record.
The Minister announced that most awaited Millennium Towers would be inaugurated by the month-end. Commenting on the progress of electronics sector Lokesh informed that government has received 408 proposals with the whopping investment of Rs. 14,735 crores, with 1.35 lakh employment opportunities.
