New Delhi, November 16: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that closer economic cooperation between India and the US helps the people of both countries, particularly the talented and innovative entrepreneurs.

Replying to US President Donald Trump's daughter and advisor Ivanka Trump on Twitter, PM Modi said, India is looking forward to welcoming her in the Global Entreprenuership Summit scheduled to be held in Hyderabad from 28th to 30th of this month.

Trump had tweeted that she is excited to join many of the remarkable entrepreneurs with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in India for Global Entreprenuership Summit 2017 in two weeks.

Trump is a senior adviser to her father, President Donald Trump. Later this month, she is scheduled to be a featured speaker at the Global Entrepreneurship Summit in Hyderabad, which will also be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The entrepreneurship summit is an annual event that this year will focus on supporting female entrepreneurs. Running from Nov. 28-30, the summit is being jointly hosted by the US and India.

Earlier, EAM Sushma Swaraj met POTUS Donald Trump's daughter on the sidelines of the UNGA session in New York. The two discussed women's entrepreneurship and Ivanka's visit to India to attend GES 2017. "I have long respected India's accomplished and charismatic Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj, and it was an honor to meet her today," Ivanka tweeted.
