Mumbai, Nov 16: Condemning the derogatory remarks against Padmavati actress Deepika Padukone, veteran filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar urged people not to make wild allegations against the epic drama of Sanjay Lila Bhansali.
Speaking to the media, Bhandarkar said that the competent authority like Censor Board will decide the fate of the flick. Recollecting his past experience the award-winning directed mentioned, “I understand how a director feels when after all the hard work one gets such threats”
Meanwhile venting his anger against the against Padmavati Indian Films & Television Directors' Association convener Ashoke Pandit said that film fraternity is under siege where creative artists are continuously being targeted by protesters in the name of cultural terrorism.
