Hyderabad, Nov 16: Telangana government is putting all its labor for the most anticipated World Telugu Conference. In order to fine-tune the co-ordination between various government agencies for the upcoming World Telugu Conference, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao addressed the meeting at the secretariat.

KCR urged officials to gear up for the historical international event. He mentioned that various campaign drives should be arranged to portray the rich culture and tradition of the state. The Chief Minister directed all stakeholders to arrange required ecosystems for the successful rollout of the five-day symposium from December 15 to 19. The TRS Chief said that reception counters should be installed at public spots like airport, and railway and bus stations to create a buzz for the international conference.

Recalling the extraordinary contribution creative fraternity, Rao stated that exemplary work in Telugu poetry, prose, folk literature, Avadhanam, Samkeertana and several other genres should be highlighted so that the great personalities should be remembered on the occasion. The Chief Minister advised conference officials to send special invites to Telugu people and their organizations spread across the world to propagate Telugu culture.

On this occasion, members of Sahitya Akademi, Government Advisor KV Ramanachary, Sahitya Akademi Chairman Nandini Sidda Reddy, Chief Secretary SP Singh, Principal Secretaries S Narsing Rao, Navin Mittal, Burra Venkatesham, Cultural Department Director Mamidi Harikrishna, Telugu University Vice-Chancellor Satyanarayana, OSD at CMO Desapathi Srinivas and others were present.
