India has responded to its offer to allow Kulbhushan Jadhav to meet his wife: Pakistan

New Delhi, November 19: Since starting India has been handling Kulbhusan Jadav issue strictly but efficiently. Pakistan wanted to hang the ex-Navy Officer to death based on the allegation he is a spy but without any solid proof. However due to international pressure, India’s strict attitude the situation changed. Recently, Pakistan decided to arrange a meeting of Commander with his wife there.

The commander was apprehended by Pakistan law enforcement agencies on March 3, 2016. Pakistan never showed friendly attitude to him or his family. But in a surprise move, it offered the meeting. Pakistan has received a response from India in the Kulbhushan Jadhav case and is considering the same, Foreign Office spokesperson Mohammad Faisal said on Twitter.

“The Government of Pakistan has decided to arrange a meeting of Commander Kulbhushan Jhadev with his wife, in Pakistan, purely on humanitarian grounds. A Note Verbale to this effect has been sent to the Indian High Commission in Islamabad,” Pakistan Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Pakistan local newspaper The Dawn reported India has expressed naturally hesitation to send Jadhav’s wife alone in Pakistan. The report said India wants the visa of his mother to be processed also. It is very obvious his mother has every right to meet his son on every ground.
