Tourist places to develop with an investment of Rs 2,000 crore: Raghubar Das

Rajrappa, November 19: While visiting the Rajarappa temple on Saturday the Chief Minister of Jharkhand announced a package of Rs.2000 crore for the development of the Tourism in Jharkhand. After his meeting with the officials in the administrative building he said that for the promotion of tourism, amount of Rs.2000 crores will be spent to develop the tourist destinations including Itkhori, Lugu Guru mountain, Aanjan Dham, Parasnath and Deoghar Temple.

 

Rajrappa Temple area will be developed from 200 crores. On the lines of Vaishno Devi, Rajrappa will be identified separately. Complex and 700 shops will be constructed near the temple. The landscape of the temple will change when the plans of beautification in Rajrappa are completed.

 

According to the local media Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that to make Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dream of New India come true, till 2022, New Jharkhand is to be developed. The government is promoting tourism along with sectors like agriculture, industry etc., for the development of New Jharkhand.

He said that the advent of tourists will not only increase the revenue but also the employment of thousands of people in the area. From the perspective of tourism, Jharkhand will soon be seen on the world map. Minister of Drinking Water and Sanitation Chandra Prakash Chaudhary welcomed the Chief Minister's announcement. He said that till 2019 these schemes will be completed on the surface.
