NTPC plant blast: Compensation of 2-2 lakhs to the deceased and 50,000 to injured

Lucknow, November 2: Astonishing NTPC blast in Rai Bareli on Wednesday has shocked the nation as the death toll has been increased by 30 and hundreds are injured. Condolences have been paid by the President Ram Nath Kovind, PM Modi and CM of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath.

 

The President said mourningly “Anguished by loss of lives in power plant mishap in Raebareli. Condolences to bereaved families.”

 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi condoles on this accident and declared compensation of Rs. 2 lakhs to the families of the deceased alongwith Rs. 50000 to the injured. He said “I wish quick recovery for the injured.”

 

Similarly Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath has declared Rs. 2 lakhs to the familes of killed, 50000 and 25000 to the severly injured and lightly injured respectively.
