Addressing the electrifying gathering of Social Media Summit & Awards 2017, Deepika mentioned, that though she is not active on social media platforms, fans always appreciates her genuine creative work.
“I am not so active on social media, but I have so many followers on various social media platforms,” said Padukone. The veteran actress opined that youth must avoid the habit of unnecessary reactions and trolls on social media. Deepika Padukone bagged the award for the most popular Indian Actress on Social Media whereas Rana Daggubati had been chosen for the Most Active South Indian Actor on Social Media.
Besides Deepika Padukone and Rana Daggubati, Young composer Anirudh Ravichander received the title for the Most Popular Indian Musician on Social Media and RJ Balaji was awarded for Best Usage of Social Media for a Social Cause.
On this occasion, AP Tourism Minister Bhuma Akhila Priya and MP Kesineni Srinivas and other official and organizers were present. Social Media Summit & Awards, a brainchild of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, was dedicated to explore and traverse various trends in Social Media for educating people about its favorable impact on business & governance.
