Security forces eliminated one local terrorist in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district

Srinagar, November 20: Indian security forces on Monday evening gunned down one local terrorist after a fierce encounter that broke out in the forest area of Tral in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district. The search operation is still going on.

 

Adil Ahmad Chopan, a local terrorist who is a local resident of Tral was killed during the fierce encounter with security forces in the Gujarbasti forest area of Tral in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district. Arms and ammunition along with the body of a slain terrorist were recovered from the encounter site.

Security forces including Indian army’s Rashtriya Rifles, CRPF Jawans and Jammu and Kashmir’s police jointly launched the search operation on the Gujarbasti forest area of Tral after getting a specific input of presence of few terrorists. The forces heard gunshots during the operation, after which they retaliated heavily and killed one terrorist.

Importantly, in two days of time, security forces have killed six terrorists belonged to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terror outfit and arrested three others having the alliance to different terror outfits. Earlier in a week, two terrorists were killed by the security forces after the fierce encounter took place in the Kund area of Kulgam district in southern Kashmir.

 

The Indian security forces have led a massive war against terrorism and terrorists in the inner parts of Jammu-Kashmir and forward areas. Therefore, Anti-Terrorism operation is continued with such a speed that more than 190 terrorists are eliminated by Indian troops in a time period of only 11 months.
