New Delhi, November 22: After making compulsory linkage of Aadhaar card with LPG connections, bank accounts, mobile number, PAN card etc Modi government has made Aadhaar card mandatory for properties as well. This is a big step to fight against black money as many of them have invested their black money in properties.

After demonetization it was observed that the black money is hoarded more in property than in cash. The Union Cabinet minister, Hardeep Singh Puri has indicated that Aadhaar linkage with property transactions would be made mandatory. Puri said such a move would go a long way in sucking out black money from real estate and also help in crackdown on Benami properties.
However, he said he would not make any statement on that but additional steps could help in sucking black money from the property market.
Aadhaar card has exposed so many things that has helped the nation to curb various types of corruption. We had seen the last month that Aadhaar had revealed 5 Cr fake accounts in which 3.6 Cr fake LPG accounts and 1.5 Cr fake ration cards were caught.
These linking Aadhaar card with various sectors will also help the nation to know whats happening around. Recently Yogi Aditynath government made Aadhaar compulsory for appearing board exams this will curb the fake candidates appearing for exams. Andhra Pradesh government made Aadhaar card mandatory for doctors which will catch fake doctors.
