New Delhi, November 24: Aadhaar not only links your accounts or mobile numbers but also links you with your loved ones. This was proved when Aadhaar card helped more than 500 missing children to meet their families.

The CEO of Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), Ajay Bhushan Pandey said that more than 500 missing children have been identified through Aadhaar," he said addressing a session at the Global Conference on Cyberspace (GCCS) 2017.

This was possible when instances like a child found in an orphanage underwent Aadhaar enrolment and it was found that his/her 12-digit biometric identifier had already been made, through that we are able to trace," Pandey said.

Aadhaar has played many important roles in development of India like it helped the government to save $ 10 Billion as it was linked with the various government schemes. This was said by PM Modi while addressing GCCS 2017.

Aadhaar card has exposed so many things that has helped the nation to curb various types of corruption. We had seen the last month that Aadhaar had revealed 5 Cr fake accounts in which 3.6 Cr fake LPG accounts and 1.5 Cr fake ration cards were caught.
