PM Modi takes 1st ride after dedicating the most awaited ‘Hyderabad Metro’ to nation

Hyderabad, November 28: The most awaited ‘Hyderabad Metro’ was dedicated to the nation by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Hyderabad Metro Rail Project was inaugurated by the PM Narendra Modi and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and took first ride from Miyapur to Kukatpally. 

Inaugurating the Hyderabad Metro Project PM Modi afterwards speaking at the BJP party meeting, said that BJP has not got opportunities to serve the government in Southern India and despite that, the party workers are always working for the common good as they believe in cooperative federalism.

 
 

Further, he said that BJP is committed to the overall development of our country and there is no discrimination against states where BJP is not in power.

On Sunday the fares were announced which are pocket-friendly. The 30-km-long first phase of the metro rail project between Miyapur and Nagole, having 24 stations, would be thrown open to the public from Wednesday.

The Hyderabad Metro is a 72-km long elevated rail line and the largest ever undertaken by engineering major Larsen & Toubro (L&T). The project was scheduled to be completed by April 2016.

Governor of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana E S L Narasimhan, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, Union Minister of State for Home, Hansraj Ahir, several Telangana ministers and BJP leaders were among those who welcomed Modi at the Begumpet airport.

Also the United States President Donald Trump's daughter and advisor Ivanka Trump arrived in India today in early hours, for the three-day Global Entrepreneurship Summit. Ivanka Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi later will be hosting this Summit for the first time.
