New Delhi, Nov 28: Turning down the petition of ML Sharma, the Supreme Court once again reiterated that the apex legal body would not intervene in the process of film certification which is the ultimate prerogative of CBFC.

Rejecting yet another plea against Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s celluloid ‘Padmavati’, the apex court clearly mentioned that people holding responsible offices should not comment on the matter which is under consideration of Censor Board of Film Certification.

Registering a strong reaction against the stubborn attitude of stakeholder for not allowing screening of Deepika Padukone starrer Padmavati in their respective states, the apex court questioned the motive behind the prohibition of the epic drama of Sanjay Leela Bhansali even before its official certification.
