SmartCity is all about using technology and design to give a better life to the common man: CM Fadnavis

Mumbai, November 3: Taking Maharashtra towards the path of ‘Smart City’, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated ‘ACETECH 2017’ which was organised by The Economic Times in Mumbai. Taking the stage after the inauguration, CM Fadnavis said that as our nation is working hard on 100 #smartcities, the roles and responsibilities of ‘ace (architecture, construction, engineering)’ sector has increased.

Speaking on the occasion of the inauguration, CM Fadnavis said that Maharashtra is getting 50% of FDI coming in India and the highest number of infra projects are being undertaken in our State. Also recalled the victory of the nation where India jumped up to 100th place from 130th in the global ranking in #EaseofDoingBusiness.

 
 
 
 

Talking over Mumbai, as priority CM Fadnavis said that ‘Commuting for Mumbaikars is going to get smooth by 2022’, also spoke on the progress of works for Mumbaikars with huge Metro network, Coastal Road and other projects. SmartCity is all about using technology and design to give a better life to the common man, CM added.

CM Devendra Fadnavis was accompanied by the Minister of State for Water and Irrigation Girish Mahajan and other dignitaries were present on this occasion.
