Chennai keeps receiving rainfall while low-pressure area still persists

Chennai, November 4: While heavy rain has totally disrupted normal life in Chennai, the forecast says Tamil Nadu and Puducherry are set to receive more rain in the next twenty-four hours. As per local reports, more than 10,000 people are strayed and taking shelters in various relief camps. Schools in Chennai and Kancheepuram districts are advised to remain shut.

Coastal Tamil Nadu and Puducherry are set to get widespread rain with the possibility of heavy rain in some places in the next twenty-four hours, as per Chennai Area Cyclone Warning Centre of the Meteorology Department Director Balachandran’s statement.
