IS will pay a big price for every attack on US; Trump warns for #NewYork terror attack

Washington, November 4: US President Donald Trump today said that ISIS will have to pay a big price for the NY terror attack. Dreaded terror outfit Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the terror attack in New York that killed 8 people and left a dozen people injured.

He further said “So when we have an animal do an attack like he did the other day on the West Side of Manhattan, we are hitting them 10 times harder. They claimed him as a soldier? Good luck. Every time they hit us, we know it’s ISIS, we hit them like you folks won’t believe.”

Trump’s comments followed tweets Friday morning in which he said that the military already had hit the Islamic State “much harder” over the past two days in response to the attack.

In another tweet Trump state that although the Islamic State just claimed the attack, the military already had boosted its response. The extremist group didn't provide evidence of its involvement in the attack; however it claimed that the attacker is one of the caliphate's soldiers.

Notably, Islamic State said in its weekly issue of Al-Naba newspaper that “the attacker is one of the caliphate soldiers”. Also, the 29-year old Uzbek immigrant, Sayfullo Saipov, told the FBI that he carried out the attack in support of Islamic State and said that he is proud of what he has done.

He confessed that he had been inspired by ISIS videos and began plotting an attack about a year ago, deciding to use a truck about two months ago.

The group has often taken credit for the actions of self-radicalized attackers, such as Omar Mateen the man who killed 49 people at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando in June 2016.
